I'm quite happy with the string that I use, D'addario EXL 165 (The med-light nickel ones) especially as they are quite cheap. But they aren't exactly what I want, the E string doesn't sound as good as the other strings and new they ring too much. I do like the punchy growl I get with my G&L Tribute l2000.
So what strings are similar that I might like. I was thinking Dean Markley NickelStells or Blue Steel NPS. |
