I got a new Music Man Sterling last week, and it came strung with nickel strings. The first time I played it at practice last Tuedsay, it sounded fine. Then on Thursday, bam, the string sounded dead. now I remember why I started using stainless steel strings.

Guess I'll be buying some new strings before my show tomorrow night...

Are all Ernie Ball nickel strigs like this?

Don't know, but the general consensus here seems to be that Ernie Balls are not exactly the best strings...
