nylon flatwounds

Sign in to disble this ad

does anyone know where to get nylonwound flats online? ive tried rotosound and stuff, but they arent the right gauge for my bass.

im using a geddy lee and the set gauge is supposed to be .045 .065 .085 .105

but i dont seem to be able to find these kinds of strings for that gauge. is it possible to find them? or do i have to have them, specially ordered?

how big of a string can i use of a geddy lee anyways? i know that i can go a little bigger than the gauge i stated, but how much bigger?

or would it simply be easier to order one of the bigger gauge strings and have my nut filed for them to fit properly?

answers would be appriciated...

thanks much,
tai

Just Strings.

I just changed from GHS Boomers to these and didn't need to do anything with the nut.
