nylon strings???

Sign in to disble this ad
I almost bought an electric bass on ebay that had nylon "roundwound" strings on it. I never heard of these. Any info??
It was a fretless, the guy used them to save the fingerboard from getting marred up. Do they have a steel core? how do they sound?
