Can anyone give me some info on the difference between nylons and others? How they sound and feel etc.

The only experience I have with any sort of nylon string is the Rotosound 88s, black nylon wound.

i have them on a Fender USA DLX Jazz 5. They sound sort-of 'thin' to me. Turn the bass up too much and they become quite muddy. I have had them sounding lovely but i'm honestly not that impressed. But they do have a superb feel and are kind-of slippery which makes it a bit easier to whizz about on the fretboard, if that's your thing!

But they do look good on the maple board with black bass body!!

If I could afford a setof TI Jazz flats, the Rotos would be trashed ASAP!!
