Nylon strings thru body (wishbass)

I just got a set of fender nylon tapewounds... would i be able to strig these on my fretless wishbass? Its a 34" scale and it is only thru-body. The guages are really big.... do you guys think it will work? I would try but im not with my bass atm.

so i bought the fender nylons and rotosound rs77. the fenders fit fine on the fretless. the roto's sound good on my pbass.... except for the e string which lacks the girth of the other strings....

I believe D'addario makes Fenders strings. I've got D'addario tapewounds on my string-through. It's all short short-scale, but I don't think that should have a significant impact.
