Oasis Strings

Anybody use them, they seem to be a new company. This is what the company says:

Bass players, who tried these at the 2009 winter NAMM show, were amazed by how SMOOTH they play. Our continuous winding process makes these strings the smoothest, most supple strings made in the USA. Many players say that they play like Thomastik bass strings, but sound a bit brighter. This is a PREMIUM set of strings that sells at a popular price. Sets are available(45-65-85-105 & 125) in both nickel-steel and stainless steel.

Do these strings cause the buyer to drink heavily, fight during shows and become unbearably arrogant?

Someone with alot of disposable income buy these and review them. This rules out me, I'm a high schooler with no job.

I just bought a set online (the 45-125 5 string set). I will put them on my SR5 when they get here, and I will report back.

I've got a set - have tried them on a CS '55 RI and a classic 50's P. I did not like them. The tension is kinda loose and funky, which I like, but they are clacky on the frets and too bright for me for a PBass. To be fair I'm a pick player and I like virtually no relief and very low action. I'll gladly swap them with someone if you have a decent set too thumpy for you.

I got the strings, and put them on my MIA Jazz V bass.

They are nice. Feel a little like Sunbeams, sound a little like D'Addario nickels.

Not as flexible as I hoped, nor perhaps as is claimed in the ads. But still, quite nice. They feel like they will last a while.

I'd like to see a set in 45-100.

I've just put a set on my moses neck pbass and they seem very high tension, I've been playing DR low riders. So far I'm happy with them. The tension allows for a real low action, I'm setup within 1/8" everywhere. My bass sounds good and is playing like a dream. They are worth checking out.
