Ok, I need strings, help!

so, i want a set of strings i can swear by, i need warm tone for blues and jazz, i also need a diffrent set for rock.
heres the issues
1.NO hexcores
2.NO flatwounds
3.NO elixers

also, whats the diffrence in sound between round and flat wounds?

if you dont know the difference then why do you say no flats

I agree, do some searching on the forum. You will only find "your" strings by trial and error.
