Hey guys, what are some of the option out there for purchasing strings online? The only one I know of is juststrings.com, are there any others?

The only other online dealer exclusively selling strings that I know of is juststrings.com

You could also buy strings from just about any online instrument seller (MF,zzounds, etc.).

Also, google is your friend. I have a crapload of links for string specialists but I haven't checked for quite some time to see which are still active. When I get ready to buy whatever set I usally do a quick search because that often nets the best price.

You might like to try:

www.lordofthestrings.com

They have a great selection, but they are a European company so currency difference might be a problem. Worth a look though.

Bump for more info. My local music store sells strings a fantastic prices, but is very slow when it comes to ordering. They don't really keep 6 string sets in stock, and it gets irritating when I have to wait 2-3 weeks for my strings to get in.

Google Mike's Chop Shop.

The best prices I've seen.

I found a site with ridiculous prices last night, but they didn't have what I was looking for so I didn't save it, but let me see if I can find it for you....

OK, here ya go. Seems like a nice Mom & Pop type of company too. Everything I looked seemed to be a few dollars less than everywhere else I was looking, plus free shipping on orders over $35.

I'll have to check out some of these other options, but I've always been satisfied with juststrings.com. They always seem to have the ones I want in stock, and they ship fast.

I have a tough time finding 6 string sets too. I wound up ordering a bunch of bagged sets from Carvin.com. From what I understand they are LaBella strings and the prices are VERY reasonable. I think I paid $30+ per set of 6 string flats.

I'm kinda bored, and should be practicing for some upcoming gigs, but I've been pulling my hair out string searching for myself, so I've been saving some links for you as I go along...
