Okay so I now finally ordered some Halfround daddario strings.

I am gonna use this for my Peavy 5 Cirrus Fretless.

I tried my teachers bass, it had Halfround on it, and I love these strings. And the bass too.

Please give us a review of the strings after they've been "broken in", please. I've always read about the inconsistancy of the B-string in various half/groundwound strings, and I've very interested in your feelings on the sound especially on a fretless. I'm not sure they'll replace my XL Nickels, but options are always a good thing.

I hope you ordered the extra longs. Your Peavey is a 35" scale. The regular length most likely won't fit it.

Whenever I order D'Addario strings for my Fender Ps, I always get the extra long. D'Addario regular length bass strings don't work thru-body on a Fender. They're too short. They work OK for top-mount. Just thought I'd mention it.

I looked in the swedish D'addario dealer catalogue and they don't offer any extra longs halfrounds, they do offer extra longs XL rounds and EXP coated.

But is it possible "long" will fit?
Why are not all strings "extra long"?
