P-Bass D'addario question (thoughts on XL 160s)

I have a parts mod P-bass with D'addario Halfs (50 gauge), I'm not feeling them lately. I have some chromes that I've had strung up on my Jazz (same gauge), but lately I've been doing rock with a lighter gauge of string. I'm considering trying out the rounds at a 50 gauge, usually I use the lighter gauge D'addario xl 170, but since Amazon sells the 160s and I've heard good things about those strings I'm going to give them a try. Anyone use the XL160's on a P-bass?

D'addarrio has finally put together some balanced tension sets. Might wanna try those out.
