Roto swing bass 66 (45 -105). Lately I've been putting foam underneth the strings down by the bridge to get a flatwound sound. Just for a change of pace.

Between the strings and the bridge? What kind of foam?

I put it underneth the strings and push it toward the bridge. You can do some experimenting with more or less foam and position of it to get different sounds and more or less sustain. I just grabbed a piece of foam that was on my bed. I think they call it egg crate foam or somthing. Use whatever you have around the house. T shirt, towel, stuffed animal.
