Ha! Can't do pictures yet, gonna have to borrow a camera, but I bought a flat black with black chrome hardware Epiphone Les Paul bass last week and ordered some DR Cool Blue colored strings to go on it. Well, they came in today and I put them on but it didn't look right. Everything's black but the strings and they are bright blue and the ball ends were brass. So I pulled them back off, covered the strings and hit the balls with flat black spray paint. Now we're talkin'.
Has an open, top loading bridge so the balls are very visible. |
