Just put a set of these on my Lakland JO5. I really like them. My question is has any one tried these on a Fender Jazz? I'm thinking about putting a set of 4XL's on my 4 string jazz bass.

I always wondered if Peavey´s Thermalfused Cirrus strings are in fact SIT Rock Brights. AFAIK SIT is the only stringmaker that uses electricity to adhere the cover wrap to the core (which is what the thermal fused process seems to do).

I've tried the cirrus stainless on a Millenium BXP j/j... was a stellar setup.

As far as I know peavey owned string winders at one time.
