Perfect Power Metal String

I'm looking for a pack of strings that sound bright with a pick but still keep the warmth on the low end. I tune standard and play out of a 15" without a horn.

I was going to suggest some nice Rotosound Flats, but you want the high end pick attack. Hmm...check Rotosound out anyway, or maybe DR or Ernie Ball.

Good Power Metal Strings

I have a 5 string Ibanez and about a month ago I strung it with Ernie Ball regular slinkies (5 string set of course), they're great. One thing I have to insist on, is that you use derlin picks. My picks are very heavy, 2.00 mm Dunlops. The combination of these two are incredible. I had gotten a twang from nylon picks and a clunking sound from celluoid picks. With the derlin picks I have no problem, they give you almost the sound of fingers on the lower strings, and the sound of a nice thick pick on the higher strings. This is the combination i'm gonna stick with, and I think you should try it.

Rock On Brother!!!
