Pino's Strings?

I really like Pino Paladino's tone, especially on the new JM3 live stuff. On his Precision, anybody know what flatwounds he is using? TI JF's? Searched but could not find the answer. Thanks.

On the P Bass, I believe they are TIs, and have been on there a long time.

Yes he uses TI flats on that P-bass. I don't have the link but if you find his website there should be info on his gear.

The stuff I recall is that he uses different strings on different basses for different gigs. One old P bass, the one used on the D'Angelo stuff had LaBella flats, tuned down a whole step or mabye a step and a half. One P bass had TI flats, and the Jaguar had some rounds on it. The old Music Man StingRay fretless had very very light Rotosound stainless rounds. Paul Young played a gig here in town back in the day and a buddy of mne was the IATSE (stage-hand's union) rep so he was working the show. Larry brought me Pino's strings the next day- the lightest bass strings I've ever seen.

Thanks a lot guys. I have a set of TI's that I took off another bass. Now all I need is a Precision. Oh... damn.
