| yea usualy one wants metal to metal/nut contact for best tone.... I've cut the wrap back before on strings where it was over the bridge or nut...... They fit my Roscoe Beck just fine in either placement( yes they are the stock string for it..) Now to figure out weather or not to reorder the set in 135, 110, -45 or just use 130 , 100 -45 off the shelf. |
