Please help. I can`t find these strings.

I have been looking for the bass strings that have a different color silk wrapping for each string. Does anyone out there know the strings i``m asking about? Thanks

bump, I've seen a roundwound set like this and I'm curious as to what they are.

I can't be sure but at one time, it was said that Jaco wanted different color silk on each string.

Check with Rotosound because that is the string he favored, and the company I think he asked to do it.

I think at one time Roto made flats with different color ends too.

Again I am not 100% sure of this. It needs to be checked.

D' Addario "slowwound" (discontinued) have different color silks.

E string is red
A string is blue
D string is black
G string is green

That was what I was thinking too. They were excellent sounding strings, and they seemed to last quite a while, too.

I had that set on a P bass that I won on eBay, they were very nice sounding rounds. People were surprised to see that every silk was a different color

These could be Bassmaster strings,i recently had a bass which had these strings fitted and each colour silk around the tuning peg was different.
