Not sure what they are but they have blue silks...thought they were D'Addarios but the ball ends are not color coated.

these had different multi colored ball ends like D'Addarios...

any one have any clues.

Blue look like La Bella by the winding type by the ball end.

Could be 760FM or 0760M

Yes the green are fender.

Thanks Jason! I must say as a life long LaBella 760 fan.... I can not believe people can actually play these heavier gauge LaBellas. I just got a P Bass with them and they sounded great! But to me the tension is just nuts. They are so friggin stiff I could barely get them wound back into a circle to take a picture of them LOL. To you folks who play these things...you must have hands like Thing from the Fantastic Four. Unreal!

They must be 0760M 1954 originals. I play them. They feel great tuned Down a half step although I still find them playable in standard tuning

The Jamersons play great with fairly low action. I love them, such a powerful sounding string.

I'm with you bro, once you use TI's you never go back.

I love them but don't have the finesse to not overplay them, and they don't work at all with a pick IME.

armybass 03-11-2013 09:30 AM

I think they sound great and are too bad tuned down a half step but I just don't dig high tension strings. I am an upright player too and I think finesse is a great word to describe what I am looking for in the feel of electric or upright strings. But there is a fine line where you can start to sacrifice tone for feel. That is the fine line I try to walk with string selection.

Uh make that "not too bad tuned down"
