Please help me ID these...

Jeff Caxide from ISIS...


As you see they have red silk on the nut end but not on the bridge end.ISIS plays in BF#BE so they must be AT LEAST over 110 gauge on the lowest string (im guessing it has to be like 130ish). how many company's make a 4 string set with that heavy gauge that have the red silk on just the one end is the question i think.

Once you start getting into alternate tunings most people use singles to put together string sets.

Red Silk at the tuning posts but nothing at the ball end could be GHS Bass Boomers. They certainly have enough singles available in gauges to do that tuning.

Now, I cant tell by the pictures, but if the bass is Thru-Body like some music men are, they could be Rotosound swingbass 66's which can also be tuned like that with their available singles.

THe silks are in the right place for GHS Boomers going thru-bridge and for Rotosound Swing Bass thru-body.

Nah his isnt through body, so Rotos are out of the question.

I'd say Boomers as well. You can't see the ball ends, so they could have red at the ball end also.

Rotosound silk would show if not thru body.
