Got my 62 Jazz Plek`d today,Guy`s let me tell you,It makes a World of difference.Had some High and Low spot`s on my neck,Kept me from getting the action Low as I would like,Not any more. The neck play`s so Beautiful now with super low action no dead spots or Buzzing any where on the neck.Totally feels like a different Bass now,No more digging in to get those notes,I was shaky about having it done,Damn I wished I would have done it a while ago,You will not regret having it done,Only to say the same as I did why didn`t I get this done along tome ago.Yes it is on the costly side but so well worth it,All you guy`s around the Northern Va,Md,DC area give Vince a call at Crossroads Guitar Shop in Baily`s Cross Road a call,He has the Plek Pro and is a great guy to deal with and down to earth guy!,I really am totally satisfied with the Plek and the set up he did on my jazz,I have found a new love with my 62 thanks to Vince,

How much did that cost you? Did the entire neck need work or was it just a few frets?

I've wondered about this for a while.

Cost of the complete Plek and set up was $200, Problem I had on my 62 a slop around the 13,14th fret that would not let me to set the action low,After the Plek was done the bass has totally awsome low action with no problem,Dead spots gone,No Buzz any where. The plek evened all frets to where there is no problem with the neck at all,I highly recomend this to be done no matter a problem with fret board or not,You will be totally blown away with the results!

Plek Pro is Computerized fret leveling Machine,$200 is not a bad price for the end result that you get from this Machine,Check out the Plek Pro on youtube!,You will have to learn to play your Bass again! because the feel is fantastic,Low action light Playing!,Im blown away with my Jazz that just set around because of the slope I had in the neck!!!
