| Depends on the neck you're putting them onto. The LaBella flats that Jamerson et. al. used in the '60s were pretty stout strings, and you could still set up most Fender basses for them with no problem.
That gauge on a big neck, with proper set-up, shouldn't be a problem, especially a graphite reinforced neck. But I wouldn't be trying that set on the five-string equivalent of a Geddy Lee Jazz or the old Fender Performer...
