| Possible string switching

I currently have been playing bass for three years now and I use XL nickelwound D'Addario strings, .045-.105 on my four string bass, the six string bass is .032-.135 (I'm not entirely sure about the high C string). I'm interested in switching to Ernie Ball bass strings. Anyone used D'Addario strings and/or Ernie Ball bass strings? Or just what is your opinion in the string difference? The reason I ask is because I don't want to go out and waste 50-some odd dollars on strings. |
