Powerful Strings

I need to get that thumping AC/DC type of sound. I know my bass and amp are capable - I have the G&L L-2000 USA Model (and if all else fails, a Fender Deluxe Jazz) and an Acoustic stack.

I just need the right strings, because these old roundwounds aren't cutting it (I do love them though, and I will be saving them.)
