Question Problem...

well, 3 months ago i purchased a black silvertone electric bass guitar, uhh, my E string has uncoiled at the bottom where the pickups are, or bridge or w/e ( im not too firmiliar with guitars ) anyway, why is this happening? are there any alternatives iether than resringing the bass? its pissing me off. lol

Nah there aren't any alternatives that I know of, besides just playing without that string.

Have you strung it the correct way? The ball-end should be threaded through the bridge.

Can't think of why your string should uncoil (?)

Take it to a shop and see if they can help you out.
