Problem with DeanMarkley SR2000

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello guys,
I have a problem... it often happens that the "B" string snap, right at the post, while I'm winding it at pitch. I don't even reach the pitch, the core just brakes right where the outer winding ends. Now, the problem is that the full portion of the string is too long and it end up around the post (do I make sense?). I don't know.... pretty much all the strings I have used so far have the same long outer winding going around the post, but the SR2000 are the only one that have this problem! It has to be the way they are made...
Do you DMSR2000 users have had a similar experience?

Thanks...

Mo'

Update

I talked to John Roof at DM and he says he'll check with the winding department about this issue.... in the meantime they'll send a replacement! Cool!
