Hi all
I just installed some Fender 9050MLs on my Fender Pbass, but there seems to be a problem with the low e.
It's kind of hard to explain, it's like if the low e have a chorus effect in it lol. Each time I play a note, you can hear a chorus type of sound. (Especially on an open note)
It's the only string that sounds like this, the other 3 are ok.
Thx a lot

I guess it is caused by the outer windings not being tightly wrapped around the inner windings, so that resonances can occur. Didn't find a cure for it - and since I switched back to roundwounds, I didn't really look for it. |

Thx a lot | It is likely, IMHO, that the tension is different (less?) on the 9050MLs. This may cause the strings to be closer to the pickup. If your E string is doing this, try raising the action or lowering the pickup on that side. Just a thought.

I would hate to think fender has produced defective ML flats!
