problem with my e-string

Sign in to disble this ad
Hello,

I was wondering if I could become a solution here.
I have a Marcus Miller jazz bass (4-string), I just bought it second hand.
My E-string is way to loose, I play rock music, if I play that string it's hitting the fingerboard and creates a
klicking sound and it's not bright sound. It's only with the E-string. I allready adjusted the trussrod and bridge is there anything I can do about it.
It's not that I'm playing it to hard, even with a plectrum I have the same problem. Is it a string problem?
I like the e-string quitte thight. What strings do I use best?
Any suggestions...?
Thanks in advance
