Purple windings?

Sign in to disble this ad
I'm looking for the BRAND of a set of strings that my guitarist gave me. They're perfect for my tone and fingerstyle.

They're rounds and have a dull, nickel finish,(similar to XL170's) with PURPLE cloth windings at each end.

I looked, not too long, for them but no avail. Search always brings me to upright strings.

Thanks in advance.
Hawk

They are Smith's. If they are dull looking my guess would be nickel. I have a set on one of my Sadowsky's. Great strings!!!
