I would say that a reasonable number have used/tried Pyramid Golds, but less probably Galli Jazz Flats (I hadn't even heard of them) ... and probably a great deal less have ever tried both with the experience to comment beneficially for you ... I have a set of Pyramids, maybe others could share their thoughts on one or the other to give you a reasonable expectation of each ... ??

Thanks for replying!

What is your experience with the Pyramids? I have them on my 2009 Am. Std. P-Bass for six months or so. I do like them - the sound is round and mellow and old school. They are also manufactured to the highest quality, I have never seen such well made strings. However, I have to say I find them a bit boring as of late. They lack crunchiness or even audacity, if I can so put it. I have read in other bass forums in Europe about the Galli Jazz flats being something between the TI Jazz flats and the La Bella 760FL, so I decided to try them. I've ordered a set which should arrive sometime soon.

By the way, their web site is
