I want to start tuning to BEAD. Do i have to adjust the truss rod or just use a thiker gauge string?

I plan on putting these on.

If you change the tension on the neck much, you'll need to adjust the truss rod. So if you just tune your current strings down, you'll have to adjust it. If you use that set, which is very light for BEAD, you'll have to adjust it. If you put on a set that's more like .125 or .130 for the B, you might or might not have to adjust it. Probably you'll want to fix the setup anyway, since the bass will play differently.
