Question For LaBella Tape Wound Players

Sign in to disble this ad
For those of you playing LaBella tape wound strings, do you find that they can get a bit sticky when playing for extended periods of time? Practices and gigs for example. Mine seem to do.

If you're experiencing this as well, how do you clean them? I find that just wiping them down improves it but doesn't take the sticky feeling away completely, and/or it's back in a short period of time.

I've never had that issue myself, but it sounds like a job for GHS Fast Fret.
