Quick flatwound question: identify these strings

Sign in to disble this ad
Just wondering if its obvious to anyone what kind of flatwounds were put on my Duck Dunn P Bass. they are great sounding, and seem quite flexible to my fingers. Red end threads. Are theses TI's ? Whatever they are, im considering switching to flatwounds on my other non-P basses

Sounds like TIs. If the ball ends seem to be a little on the small side that would be another clue for TI JF's.

Another clue for TI Flats is that the E & A strings seem to have a small gap between the flat outer windings, and the windings on the D & G strings are closer together with no gap.
