As long as it is not a string through 35" the Hi Beams will fit.

Some brands Long Scales will fit 34" and ""MOST"" 35"... DR is one of those brands.

I have the f154dx which is the 4 string version, also 35 scale of course. I'm useing dr neons. Top load instead of thru body option out of preferance. Ive heard that their low B has wrap further up then the low E which could make string thru body required for it. The low E string has about 5/8 inch clearance before wrap starts between it and tuning peg. The strings are long enough to go thru body if wanted to.

Id suggest get a set of the DR's and before stringing lay string from ball end at back of bridge to tuner to see if you'll need to go thru body for the B string. You will if wrap reaches tuning peg. Otherwise not.

Not sure if the Hi beam strings are same length as the neons. But if they are, theyd fit thru body or top body with no problem except maybe for the low B as mentioned.

Humm, just thought of something, the neons dont have silk wrap on them. If the Hi beams have silk wrap on them, might be a problem thru body due to silk being over the nut for the low B and E strings. Forgot about that untill this eve when putting on a set of Dean Markley Blue Steels. They'll fit fine for top loaded but silk wrap of the E string would be over the nut if done thru body for bridge.
