what do you guys recommend or use.also what set of 5's with a .130 b- string.I like round wounds, just got a new 5 string and would like to know which are good strings. thanks

I use the Hartke strings simply because they are the least expensive 5 string set but I don't think they make a .130 . I also like the DR extra life coated strings. The black set has a .130 |

I have changed to LaBella and had very good luck with every set I've used so far. My set has a .128 B string, which ought to be close enough for your purposes. Good luck.

Ken Smith strings are also fine and all three are relatively inexpensive and have long life. I find DR's to be good strings, but IMO the ones mentioned above play better, or at least as good for a bit less money.
