What are you looking for in acoustic bass tone that the D'Addario strings aren't providing?

I liked these on my Guild B-30. Less acoustic volume than the D'addario's but nicer amplifed tone.

Thomastik-Infeld Phosphorbronze Round Wound 4 String, .041 - .086, AB344

The D'addario's didn't cut it for me either.
