Recommendations for strings needes

I posted this in another section but thought this might be more appropriate.

I need to buy new strings for my new to me Ovation Celebrity CC075 Acoustic 5 String Bass Guitar. I would like flats in black if possible. Recommendations and reasons would be just Grea8.

Flats in Black = Black Nylon Tapewounds...

You may need to modify your nut for the B string but if you go with D'Addario or GHS you most likely wont need to for the other strings... Maybe the G and D...

If you go with La Bella or Rotosound tapes you will have to widen all of the nut slots.
