Which flats has the red silk on the wire? Reason why i ask because i just rec'd a bass from someone with flats on the jazz bass, but was wondering if there is a company that uses the red silk.

Thomastik Infeld Jazz Flats have red silk on both ends. If that is the case, you couldn't have done better IMHO.

If they have low tension, and are of a small guage, they are likely TI Jazz Flats.

Rotosounds also have red on both ends. Just a tad lighter in shade then TI (you can only see it with the two side by side).
