Ridiculous intonation problems...

Sign in to disble this ad
I have a set of DR HiBeams equipped on my yamaha RBX375 and the strings don't seem to stay in tune everywhere up and down the neck. I have changed the intonation to try and get rid of this problem but it's still there, and my saddles have no pattern at all. They were set up on my Fender P Lyte and had a beautiful sound so I thought i'd try them out on my yamaha.
Does anybody know what's wrong?

My guess would be that your bass just needs a good setup and intonation adjustment. There's a good guide written in the Hardware & Setup subforum.
