ROTO TRUBASS 88's BLK NYLON TAPES

Just got these for a Hofner CT im getting soon, i've heard i need to carve the nut for these to fit is this true and if so is there a guide for this? Im a real noob and i don't want to be messing with something im not too sure i can do.

try an emory board , I had to do some very light filing for the E......VERY VERY light

I would suggest you get yourself a rule that has 64ths on it. Then measure just below(about a third) the mouth of each nut slot. It will give you an idea if your strings will fit without any nut filing.

Roto tapewounds are .065 -.075 -.100 -.115 which means rounded to the nearest 64th: 4/64ths(1/16th); 5/64ths; 6/64ths(3/32ndths); 7/64ths G-D-A-E.
