Roto Trubass tapewounda intonation

I've only used these once before but I have a new bass incoming that I might wanna try 'em on again(I've got a brand new set in a box just sitting here). However, I seem to recall feeling like there were intonation issues with them, or should I say, a pitch "wobble" at times. Granted, I had just slapped them on an old Franken P-bass and did my own (admittedly non-pro) set-up, but I wonder if there is some issue like that inherent in these kinda strings? I have some recordings with that bass though and they sure did sound cool . . . .

I have used these before and have not found the intonation too bad on these strings , however some people have reported intonation problems with these strings. However this is what adjustable bridge saddles were invented for , I would say go for it put the strings on , you will love the tone of these strings

I bought some for my short-scale project on the recommendation of fellow TBers ... no problems with them at all, other than needing to reslot the nut.

Love the deep thumpy sound!
