Is there a set of Rotosound 66s that will fit a Lakland 55-02?

Top load or otherwise?

The standard 66 (long scale) ones will fit a 35" scale easily, though I doubt they would through the body, if you have that option.

I bought a set last night and it looks like the red silk will just barely clear the nut. So I haven't strung them yet. Don't like the red silk either.

Your bass is 35", the silk will clear the nut easily as the silk to ballend length of the long scale is 36.5". If for some reason you want to go longer, they also make super longs. You can also get them without the silk too if thats a major issue for you, they are cheaper without the silk too.
