Rotosound Monel Flatwounds?

What does anyone think about Rotosounds Monel Flatwounds? Are they worth trying?

They sound nice on a P-Bass. Still pretty bright though.

I'm a roundwound guy, but I like them. They're worth a try. I have them on a P-Bass. They are bright for flats.

i actually found it to be the opposite. i used them on my fretless jazz and found them dark. i use d'addario chromes now, i like them better. More brightness and clarity.

I put them on an acoustic fretless, with the right EQ I can get a nice upright-ish sound. I like them, but I haven't compared with other strings.
