Rotosound RS665LC on a 35"?

Hi everyone!
I found at home a brand new set of Rotosound RS665LC and I was wondering if it was possible for me to install them on my 35" bass.
On their website, they write that the scale length for these strings is 32-34 but...these strings are referred as "long scale". For me...32-34" is regular scale!
So is it possible to install these strings on my 35" bass?

Thank you for helping a complete ignorant in the world of strings!

I don't think so. Do you know the diff between Rotosound RS665LC and RS665LD? I don't, but I have a RS665LD set on my 34" Epic, and if the scale of my bass were 35", the silk wrap would extend onto the nut.

I think you need to look for extra long scale strings.

The letter reffers to the Gauge of the Set.

I just checked with a RS665LD with is 45-130 Long Scale.
They fit my Lakland 55-02 35" Scale through the bridge, not through the body. The silk is barely past the nut, but they work.

Now if you have the strings on hand... why not just open the pack and check for yourself.

Long Scale is 34"
Extended Scale 35" and up
Medium Scale 32" and Short anything less around 30"
