This is probably a silly question.....

Should I be concerned about putting the Steve Harris Sig set on a brand new 60th Anniv P-Bass?

I mean it has the modern neck with the graphite rods, right?

I know I'm probably being overprotective of my new baby......

Steve Harris has used 'em for decades on a plain ol'regular P-bass, so I don;t think you have much to worry about. You WILL need top allow for some setup adjustments, of course

Thats a very good point.

I suppose these strings come stock on the Harris Sig P-bass?

I'll be bringing it in for a pro-setup.....the first time I'm trying a flat other than Sadowskys in a long time.

They do come on his Sig model.

I don't think there are any silly questions. Of course you want to be protective.

I've used these strings for years, and of course Steve Harris has used them himself for much longer. I've had no problems with them. Some say the fret wear is bigger with these strings, but so far I haven't noticed anything.

You will need some adjustments in your setup with these strings. Do it yourself or let a pro fix it.
