Rotosound Singles

I've always played Slinkys but I'm looking to try out something different on my cheapo fretless right now, and Rotosound makes the gauges I'm looking for. Anyone know where I can find singles?

Specifically I'm looking for a .20, which they show in their 8-string set.. I'm contemplating building a 7- or 8-string (not with octaves, F#BEADGCF) and want to find out if I'll really use that high C and F so much, or if I should just drop tune a 6. Roto makes everything from the .175 to the .20 so I figured that'd be the way to go.

The problem with wound .020s is that they have a very thin core, and therefore prone to breakage. I had one break on me at E, not even reaching F.

Looking at Rotosound's 8 string set, the .020 is tuned to G. I doubt this is a wound string, I don't think a wound would take the tension. If it's a plain steel .020 you could just use a guitar string instead. Rotosound guitar strings are long enough to use, just detach a bass ball-end from a dead bass string and thread it onto the guitar string, slide it up against the guitar ball-end... instant bass string
