Did you use the solo bass (88) strings that I am asking about?

If then, please elaborate, if not, why bother posting?

well if it's that way then here you go. i think they feel sticky? i don't know. it feels like i have rubber pads on the ends of my fingers when i play them. almost like i can't get off the string fast enough.

You talk about the solos? But how d'ya like flats? I like flats, and these are "semi flats" as I have understood it, nah well, now I have ordered them so I will eventually find out.

Are you sure it's the strings, or were your fingers just dry?

Not to mention the fact that sometimes you need time to let the strings settle in with the bass.

Sorry, but I'm not able to give an opinion on the Solo bass strings.
