Lightbulb Rotosound Spacer's are back

According to the new Rotosound e-newsletter, Rotosound has brought back the Black Coated Spacers. I don't know if they are like the ones in the early 90's. What do I know I was like 5years old when they were out the first time. According to the newsletter, they say they are made with "Type 52 Alloy."

I have no clue when they will actual be out for the public to buy. They just say on the e-newsletter that the Spacers are back. Yes, the lion on the front is gone with a new box and new look. Again, no clue on when they will be out, or what gauges they will be available in.

They are a coated string. I assume Rotosound brought these back to compete with the other major string manafactures that make Extra life coated strings (Elixir, DR, GHS, Black Diamond, etc.) I don't know what they sound like. The e-newsletter stated though that they are made from "Type 52 Alloy." I assume it is somewhere between a stainless roundwound sound and nickel roundwound sound, kind of like the GHS Progessives or the Thomastik Infeld Superalloys. The only other difference is that they are coated to resist sweat, dirt, etc. Hence lasting longer. Again I don't know even if these are like the ones made in the late 80's and early 90's, so I don't really know about the feel or sound of them.
