Rotosound Swing 66 strings cutting frets

Sign in to disble this ad
I currently use rotosound swing bass strings, and am finding that particularly on the higher frets, they are cutting away at the frets, leaving the frets slightly sharp. I guess its only going to get worse unless I do something... I'm wondering if anyone else has had similar problems ?

I used to use stainless steel and stopped as they were eating my frets, use Nickel strings like Rotosound RS66LN

Stainless Steel strings are hard on frets no matter who makes them. It's the price you pay for the tone they produce; that's the tradeoff...
