Rounds on Top Flats on Bottom

Has anyone any experience with this configuration were the E and A strings are flats and the D and G strings are roundwound.

It feels weird...the difference in tension really shows up when you have different types like that...also, the flats sorta "roll" when you bend then slightly and the rounds don't so much...it seems like something cool to try, but ends up kinda strange feeling!

I've never had the faintest idea why someone would want strings to sound different. I would automatically force myself to only play on two strings at a time.

You could play the bass line on the lower strings and do occasional simultaneous fills on the higher strings.
